Hargrave and Broward Yachts to Highlight The Sacks Group Display
at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show - Plus, “Tour
the Show with a Pro” Program Will Give Clients an Insider’s
View
Fort Lauderdale, Florida – August 13, 2009
– The Sacks Group Yachting Professionals are pleased to announce
an all-star trio of luxury yachts will grace their docks at the
upcoming Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, October 29 –
November 2, 2009. The group also is offering an exclusive behind-the-scenes
experience to interested clients through its “Tour the Show
with a Pro” program which starts at their customary Las Olas
Marina location, A-Dock/Dock-1.
“Nobody knows their way around the Fort
Lauderdale boat show better than our team,” said Jennifer
M. Saia, The Sacks Group President and Charter Specialist. “Whether
a client is looking for the perfect yacht for a fabulous charter
vacation or an exceptional brokerage yacht value, we can help them
find it.”
For the third year in a row, the 121-foot (36.9m)
custom Broward Motor Yacht Java will serve as the Hospitality Yacht
at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show (FLIBS) for The Sacks
Group and Elite Traveler magazine. Invited guests will be entertained
at a series of fun events on board the yacht – which is available
for luxury charter vacations and also is offered for sale as a co-Central
Listing during the show by The Sacks Group’s Brokerage Division.
M/Y Java
Launched in 1990, this popular charter vessel
has an elegant contemporary interior that was refurbished during
an extensive refit. She accommodates 10 guests in a full-beam master
stateroom, two queen staterooms and two twins, all with en suite
baths. A great entertainer, Java has a formal dining area and an
informal Country Kitchen, as well as a spacious sundeck with eight-person
Jacuzzi. She excels at water-sports, featuring an 18-foot Novurania
RIB, a pair of Sea-Doos, two kayaks, rendezvous diving gear and
even a 29-foot tow-behind Jupiter fishing boat with twin 250-hp
Yamahas (available in specific areas). Java is available for charter
in the Caribbean in winter and in the Mediterranean in summer. Rates
start at US $69,000 per week, plus expenses.
“The owner of Java is very motivated to sell her, and is accepting
all reasonable offers,” said Bruce Schattenburg, The Sacks
Group Managing Director/Yacht Broker. “If not sold by the
FLIBS, she will be auctioned at the show on Sunday, November 1st.
Brokers are welcome to attend.”
The Sacks Group is also proud to display the 101-foot
(30.8m) Feadship Calypso at FLIBS. “Calypso is a very special,
classic Feadship,” Saia said. “She is a show-stopper.”
M/Y Calypso
Representing the ultimate in Dutch quality,
this steel-hulled beauty was launched by the De Vries shipyard in
1971 and has been meticulously maintained ever since. Calypso’s
classic interior is highlighted by expansive, finely finished joinery.
Her spacious exterior decks include an inviting covered aft-deck
living area. She sleeps six guests in three luxurious, en-suite
staterooms, including a king-berth master suite. The four-person
crew quarters feature a separate captain’s cabin. During a
1994 refit, Bradford Marine added a cockpit built to Dutch naval
architect De Voogt’s original plans. Calypso is offered for
sale by Bruce Schattenburg.
The third yacht The Sacks Group plans to display
at FLIBS is the 78'5" (23.9m) 2007 Hargrave Goose Bumps. Everyone
who steps aboard this yacht always believes they are on a much larger
yacht.
Custom-built for an experienced yacht owner, Goose
Bumps has four en suite staterooms and crew quarters for two –
not to mention a six-person flybridge Jacuzzi! Her contemporary
interior features millwork in satin-finished Mozambique mahogany.
Goose Bumps is equipped with a cutting-edge audio/visual entertainment
package including Crestron controls, as well as Furuno Black Box
navigation instruments. The semi-displacement yacht, which has a
top speed of 23.5 knots, is in immaculate condition and comes with
full-extended transferable factory warranties on the engines and
generators. Goose Bumps is offered for sale by Gibbs Lukoskie of
The Sacks Group’s Brokerage Division.

Two additional yachts will be announced shortly
which will round out The Sacks Group’s exclusive display at
the Las Olas Marina.
